Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Monday, December 16, the death sentence of a prisoner previously arrested and convicted for “murder” was carried out in Miandoab Prison.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, the prisoner has been identified as Seyyed Behzad Seyyedi Bukani.

Based on information from Breathing in Confinement reporter, Seyyed Behzad Seyyedi Bukani, the son of Seyyed Hossein, was a married man from Bukan. He had been arrested on charges of “murder,” sentenced to death, and recently transferred to Miandoab Prison for the implementation of the sentence. The execution was carried out at dawn on Monday, December 16, in Miandoab Prison.
