Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Thursday, November 28, the death sentence of a prisoner who had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death was carried out in Langarud Prison, Qom.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Right League in Iran, at least one prisoner was executed in Qom Prison on Thursday, November 28, 2024, on charges of “murder.” The identity of the prisoner, Seyyed Davood Rajabi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.

As reported by a Breathing in Confinement correspondent, Seyyed Davood Rajabi, a 30-year-old mechanic from Eshtehard who was planning his wedding, was arrested four years ago on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Thursday, November 28, in Langarud Prison, Qom.

Annual Report on Executions in Iran
