According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner accused of “murder” was executed in Sari Prison on Wednesday morning, January 8. The identity of the prisoner, Milad Bao Dizabadi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
Based on information from Breathing in Confinement, Milad Bao Dizabadi, a resident of the village of Dizabad in Qaemshahr, was arrested on November 27, 2020, following a street altercation in which he was accused of murdering a young man named Saeed Noorani. Despite collective efforts by local residents to seek the consent of the victim’s family, the attempts were unsuccessful, and the death sentence was carried out on the morning of Wednesday, January 8, in Sari Prison.
