Execution of three prisoners accused of “murder,” in Shiraz Central Prison

Breathing in Confinement: In recent days, the death sentences of 3 prisoners who were accused of “murder” were executed in the Shiraz Central Prison.
According to “Breathing in confinement,” citing Hengaw, three prisoners were executed on charges of murder in recent days at Shiraz Central Prison. As per the repost, a prisoner named Jamil, an Afghan national, was executed on the morning of Thursday, December 14. On December 11, another prisoner named Saeed Akbari, 27 years old, was hanged in this prison. On December 7, also, Mojtaba Malekpour, 34, from Darab, was executed in the same prison.
As of this writing, the execution of these three prisoners has not been reported by the state media.
According to the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, authorities of the Islamic Republic executed at least 112 prisoners last month. The Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, condemning these executions, calls on the United Nations Human Rights Committee and all human rights organizations to take decisive action to prevent the execution of prisoners in Iran. The inaction against the crimes of the authorities of the Islamic Republic has led them to take the lives of many individuals without being concerned of the consequences.
