Breathing in Confinement: After contracting Covid-19, the political prisoner, Bahareh Soleimani, was transferred to the quarantine section of Evin Prison’s Women Ward.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, After contracting Covid-19, the political prisoner, Bahareh Soleimani, was transferred to the quarantine ward of Evin Prison. It needs to be mentioned that Ms. Soleimani has asthma.
Mostafa Daneshjoo, Ms. Soleimani’s lawyer, reported on his personal page on social media that Ms. Soleimani had captured Covid-19. He wrote: “She suffers from respiratory disease (asthma) and needs to have immediate access to the specialized medical centers and subspecialist doctors.
Bahareh Soleimani was arrested on October 16, 2020, by the agents who introduced themselves as security police. In early February 2021, after being interrogated, she was transferred from the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center, Ward 2A in Evin Prison, to Evin’s Women Ward.
