Arash Nasri is denied the right to attend his daughter’s funeral; political prisoners protested

Breathing in Confinement: After the sudden death of the young daughter of the political prisoner Arash Nasri, he was barred from attending her daughter’s funeral. And as a result, the political prisoners in ward 4 of Hall 10 protested and covered all the cameras in the hall.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, in line with the increased pressure on political prisoners, on Tuesday March 23, Arash Nasri, a political prisoner who is being held in Rajai Shahr prison, was barred from attending his teenage daughter’s funeral.
On Tuesday, March 23, Arash’s father went to Rajai Shahr prison’s doorstep and shouting for justice, asked for a few hours of under supervision leave for his son. However, the prosecutor and the judge in charge of political prisoners, Amin Vaziri, emphasized that it was not possible and therefore, this prisoner was prohibited to see his daughter for the last time.
It should be noted that the political prisoner, Arash Nasri was arrested by security forces in the City of Varamin, on December 20, 2019 and was taken to Evin Prison. And later, in mid February 2020, he was transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj.
Arash Nasri is charged with illegally entering and leaving the country’s borders as well as supporting the Kurdistan Khabat Party.
