Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday, January 1, 2022, Mohammad Habibi, a teacher and spokesman for the Teachers’ Union, was summoned to Branch 6 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Shahriar.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners Rights League in Iran, on Saturday, January 1, 2022, Branch 6 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Shahriar Town summoned Mohammad Habibi, a teacher, former prisoner, and spokesman for the Teachers’ Union, to the security police.
Mohammad Habibi, a teacher union activist, was released from Greater Tehran Prison in November 2019, after spending 30 months in prison.
More than a year after his release, the Ministry of Education ordered for his dismissal. On April 21, 2021, the verdict of his dismissal with receiving compensation was upheld on appeal and his lawyer was notified of this.
