Nationwide uprising: Two students were sentenced to a total of 6 years in prison

Breathing in Confinement: Alireza Ghamgosar, a student at Kashan University, was sentenced to two years in prison by the Revolutionary Court. Alborz Aadi, a student at Azad University in Najaf Abad also, has been sentenced to 4 years in prison. They both were arrested during nationwide protests.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Alireza Ghamgosar, a student at Kashan University, and Alborz Adi, a student at Azad University in Najaf Abad, were sentenced to jail.
Mr. Ghamgosar’s brother wrote in his page in social media that Alireza was sentenced to two years in prison by the Revolutionary Court for conspiracy and collusion to commit a crime against national security.
Alireza Ghamgosar, an archeology student at Kashan University, was arrested on September 20 during nationwide protests in Rasht, and later was temporarily released on bail.
In addition, Alborz Aadi, a graduate of Isfahan Art University and a student at Persian language and literature at Azad University in Najaf Abad, was sentenced to two years in prison and two years of suspended imprisonment.
Mr. Aadi was arrested in Langroud on October 31 and was temporarily released on Saturday, December 31, on bail of 300 million tomans. He had previously also been arrested by security forces in Najaf Abad on October 3 and later was released on bail.
