Security forces violently raid on the houses of a number of the 1980s prisoners in Tabriz

Breathing in Confinement- On Saturday, February 8, 2020, the security forces of Tabriz intelligence office violently raided the houses of a number of former political prisoners and transferred them to an unknown location.
According to Breathing in Confinement- the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Saturday morning, February 8, security agents raided the houses and seized the personal belongings of some of the former 1980s prisoners, including Majid Zabihi, Hassan Tarverdian, Majid Moutab Pour Rezaei and Reza Gholi Shir-Mohammadi as well as his son Yaser Shir-Mohammadi. The agents subsequently went to and searched their workplaces.
“On Saturday morning, February 8, security forces raided on the houses of some of former 1980’s prisoners and seized all of their personal belongings, including laptops, tablets, cell phones, and even landline telephones,” an informed source told the Breathing in Confinement reporter.
It should be noted that these detainees have a history of being imprisoned and tortured in Tabriz prison in the 1980s. Majid Zabihi was imprisoned in Tabriz prison for 5 years, Hassan Tarverdian for five years, Majid Moutab Pour Rezaei for 7 years and Reza Gholi Shir Mohammadi for 4 years.
There is still no information available on the reason for their detention and their whereabouts.
