Security forces in Tehran searched Pouran Nazemi’s home and confiscated some of her personal belongings

Breathing in Confinement: Today, September 18, 2021, the home of civil activist Pouran Nazemi was searched by security forces in Tehran. The agents searched Ms. Nazemi’s home and confiscated her personal belongings, including her computer and some of her documents.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, today, Saturday, September 18, 2021, the home of civil activist Pouran Nazemi was violently searched by security forces. During the search, security agents broke and destroyed many of Ms. Nazemi’s personal belongings.
In recent days, the homes of a number of other activists, including two women’s rights activists, Sara Sahranvardfard and Maryam Rahmani, were also searched by the security agents of Revolutionary Guards. “Breathing in Confinement” reported the search of the homes of two women’s right activists.
Pouran Nazemi has previously also been detained by security forces. She, along with a number of other civil activists, was detained by security forces on September 8, when they were protesting the recent events in Afghanistan. She however, was released on the same day.
Ms. Nazemi was also arrested on August 18 during a rally held by some civil activists in Karaj, and was released an hour later.
