According to the reports obtained by Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran (PRLI), Ali Beit Sayyah is the 7th person who has been executed on November 8, 2018 in Central Prison of Ahwaz.
PRLI had revealed the names of 6 Arab prisoners executed in this prison.
Their names are: Mohammad Momeni (Silavi) and his two sons Nesar Mohammad Momeni and Osame Mohammad Momeni (Silavi), Ahmad Aboud Heydari, Hatam Savari and Ahmad Abdolali Sari.
Close sources to Mohammad Momeni’s family told PRLI’s reporter: “On November 12, a man called Mr. Momeni’s wife from Tehran, pretending to be her husband but she said that she had not recognized the voice and is not sure about who had called her.”
The authorities of Khuzestan Province including the Governor have denied the execution of 22 Arab activists, however the prisoners’ relatives have no news about their fates.
Some sources in the Intelligence Office of Khuzestan Province have confirmed the execution of at least 7 Arab Prisoners but asked to stay anonymous.
The security agents have also raided the funeral held by Ahmad Heydari’s family and shut it down.
It is worth mentioning that after the assault on a military parade in the Ahwaz city on September 22, 2018, the forces of Ministry of Intelligence and IRGC have arrested hundreds of Arab civilians across Khuzestan province. Some human rights activists told PRLI that more than 800 people had been arrested ever since.
