And that so far more than 1,300 websites have been identified and 320 people were been arrested.”
According to the Tasnim news agency, Ashtari, head of the country’s police, announcing the arrest of 320 people, accused them of “disturbing the public mind.” He added: “Cyberspace is one of the issues that earlier was making the people worried. “FATA police, however, have dealt decisively and legally with the rumor spreaders, identifying more than 1,300 websites and arresting 320 people.”
The arrests are being made while hundreds of people are dying on daily basis from Covid-19. And there are no accurate information on the death toll and the number of involved cases.
