Rasoul Bodaghi was transferred to the general ward of Evin Prison

Breathing in Confinement: On Thursday, June 2, 2022, Rasoul Bodaghi , a teacher and teacher union activist, was transferred to the public ward in Evin Prison after completing his interrogation in Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence. Mr. Bodaghi had been arrested by security forces on April 30, on the eve of Teacher’s Day.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Rasoul Bodaghi, in a short phone call to his family, informed them that his interrogation had been completed and that he had been transferred to the public ward of Evin Prison. Mr. Bodaghi was arrested on April 30 after security forces raided his home and was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison. He has been recently sentenced to 5 years in prison
It should be noted that on June 1, 2022, Branch 36 of the Court of Appeals in Tehran upheld the verdict issued by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran against Rasoul Bodaghi and notified it to Ramin Safarnia, his lawyer.
