To serve her sentence, Nasrin Javadi transferred to Evin Prison

Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday, July 2, 2022, Nasrin Javadi, a labor activist, was transferred to Evin Prison to serve her 5-year sentence.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Saturday, July 2, 2022, Nasrin Javadi was transferred to Evin Prison to serve her sentence.
Mrs. Javadi was previously summoned to Tehran General and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office to serve her 5-year prison sentence while her lawyer had submitted some evidence to the court showing her inability to bear her sentence including some medical documents indicating her multiple diseases and the use of multiple medications as well as her old age.
Mrs. Javadi had previously also been summoned to the Sentence Execution Branch of the Evin Courthouse in July 2020 to to serve her sentence.
