Three political prisoners transferred to women’s ward of Evin prison

Breathing in Confinement – Asrin Darkale, Maryam Mohammadi and Neda Naji were transferred to women’s ward of Evin prison.
According to the reports obtained by Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran (PRLI), Asrin Darkale and Maryam Mohammadi, two women’s rights activists were transferred to women’s ward of Evin prison on 6 August 2019.
Neda Naji was also transferred from Qarchak prison of Varamin to this ward on August 7th.
Maryam Mohammadi had been arrested in Garmsar on 8 July 2019 and taken to ward 209 of Evin prison.
Asrin Darkale was arrested on July 28th and taken to the same ward.
Neda Naji is one of the arrested activists on the May Day in Tehran who had been sent to Qarchak prison of Varamin after being interrogated in ward 209 of Evin prison.
