The Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran expressing concern over the rapid increase in the execution of death sentences in Iran, calls on all human rights entities and organizations to urge the Islamic republic to stop the executions. The Islamic Republic  uses the execution as a tool to prevent the protests of the Iranian people. The Islamic Republic should know that using the inhuman death punishment to intimidate people has a price to pay. Inaction and silence in the face of these inhuman acts will make the regime feel more open handed to kill the Iranian people.

According to the statistics center of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at least 665 prisoners were executed in Iran in the past one year.
