The Names of 19 Detained Municipal Workers in Ahwaz

Breathing in Confinement – Dozens of Ahwaz municipal workers protested against the 6-month-delay in paying their salaries and were arrested.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, municipal workers of 4th district of Ahwaz were arrested and sent to prison, following their protest against delays in paying their salaries on Monday June 13.
The protest contained more than 70 municipal workers, 24 of whom were arrested by the police forces.
It is to say that one of the Ahwaz municipal workers, Esmail Shaverdi, who was present at the protests, set himself in fire because the authorities had neglected their demands on May 27.
The names of 19 of these workers are as follows:
Mansour Torfi, Taha Afravi, Kazem Afravi, Hassan Hayadr, Hamid Havish Mazraeh, Kazem Mazraeh, Moses Savari, Ali Ahmadifar, Adnan Mojaddam, Hossein Mansoori, Nasser Dahimi, Ali Bachieh, Jasem Pourahmadi, Abdulkarim Thalabi, Seyed Adnan Mousavi, Abdullah Soleimani, Kazem Afri, Hassan Mojaddam, Javad Savari.
