Breathing in Confinement: Yesterday, a group called “Adalat-e Ali,” publishing videos from the camera control room of Evin Prison, announced that they had hacked into the Prison’s security network.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, according to videos published on social media, on Sunday, August 22, 2021, a cyber-attack warning message from a group named “Adalat-e Ali,” appeared on the screens of Evin Prison’s control room, saying that: “Evin prison is a stain of shame on Raisi’s black turban and white beard; Nationwide protests (will be continued) until the release of all political prisoners.”
The group has also revealed that it had gained access to the wards’ CCTV network as well as the contents of the political prisoners’ files and some other confidential documents which would be released soon.
Another video shows the prison guards ill-treatment of a prisoner, who faints in front of the prison door and is inhumanely dragged on the ground and up the stairs to be taken inside the prison.
The comparison of the official videos previously released from Evin Prison, with the videos published by this group, verifies their validity.
