According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, a soldier named Alireza Mokhtari died by suicide in the police headquarter in Marvdasht.
Compulsory military service puts a lot of psychological pressure on soldiers and causes several soldiers to attempt suicide every year.
